I'm too much of a liability!!!
Last week I experienced something horrifying and made me panic. It was a situation where my best friend was in trouble and I couldn't do anything to help him. I felt so helpless and useless to... my buddy was in the freezing cold river, hanging on to the side of a pier wall, below and back under me, as I layed on my stomach trying to reach him. The design of the new pier the city is putting in is so unsafe and retarded! It now sticks out, way over the original shore wall, making it impossible to drop a lifeline down to my scared freezing screaming cat! If it was a human it could be the same story, he just couldn't reach it without letting go of the brace on the old wall. I'm still so shook up about it. That stupid ledge, or their stupid concrete walk way sticks way out over the water and he was on this ledge or top of a brace of an older steel wall like half corrugated thing.
